Our sealing method and quality system was adapted to meet the rigid requirements of the offshore industry.
MCT Brattberg is assessed and certified by DNV, in accordance with the Quality and Environment Management system standard EN ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS for the design, manufacture and supply of fire barrier and sealed transit systems associated with cable and pipe routes in building and marine environments. As a direct result of this achievement, quality and environmental assessments are carried out by DNV twice annually.

Every product in our system is manufactured according to a tried and tested quality control system that is fully documented. To test the quality of our welding, we carry out both destructive and non-destructive testing. Read more about our welding manufacturing



As part of our efforts in testing the safety of MCT Brattberg products, we have fire-testing facilities located at our head office in Karlskrona, Sweden. These facilities are used primarily for four purposes:

  • To continuously test MCT Brattberg cable/pipe transit components
  • To comply with the demands of various certification standards issued by different countries and standardization authorities
  • As an aid in our research and development activities
  • To show customers and other interested parties how we carry out fire testing
